The radish (a limerick)

April 26, 2011 · 6 comments

From the gardener — who is he, and not me.
   The color flashed bright
   I pulled with my might
A premie orb overshadowed my glee.

love the limerick! did you find yourself thinking in limerick after you wrote this? curious if you’ve had watermelon radishes? just tried them–so pretty!

watermelon radishes are beautiful — had them in Georgia, but not yet here (why didn’t we grow them??). posted about them once.
